Our Commitment

At 1502 Candle Co., we want every customer to be able to shop with us, including customers with disabilities. Accessibility is something we're actively working on, not a box we've checked once and moved past.

Our Approach

We're working toward alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely recognized standard for accessible websites.

To support this, our site includes an accessibility toolbar that lets visitors adjust settings like contrast, font size, and text spacing, along with text-to-speech support and AI-generated image descriptions for screen readers. We also run periodic automated scans to help identify areas that need attention.

These tools are one part of an ongoing effort, not a complete solution on their own. We're continuing to review and improve our site's underlying accessibility over time. This statement was last reviewed on 9/1/2026.

Known Limitations

We're in the process of reviewing our site against WCAG 2.1 AA and expect to find areas that need improvement along the way, as most sites do.
